Portrait of Parents on a Bridge
I'd been saving this photo that I took last February of my parents near the Rio Grande Nature Center in Albuquerque. I wanted to post it today on their 56th wedding anniversary. I didn't know that this would be the last photo I ever took of them together. Mom passed away on Sunday. Here's to you Mom and Dad for all of the happy anniversaries you spent together and on this one that is not very happy.

My Mom passed away on Sunday afternoon. She and my Dad would spend every summer in Westcliffe, Colorado with this view out of her kitchen window. My Dad and I returned here today for one more sunset. My mom appreciated my photos perhaps more than anyone else and she especially liked the black and white pics. This one is for you, Mom. I love you.

I saw this scary scene in a combination roadhouse, restaurant, and crafts studio(!) in Westcliffe, Colorado.
After finishing his beer(s), this gentleman went and sat in on an art class. It would be intimidating to criticize his painting. Or his gun.

You would prefer us to believe that rather than inciting violence, your statement about Hillary Clinton, future Supreme Court nominees, and Second Amendment supporters was not an attempt to incite violence but rather an example of how unqualified you are to be President. One or the other is true, although admittedly, both could be true.
When you are President of the United States, everything you say matters. It also matters how you say it. Your diarrhea of the mouth is dangerous.
Happy Anniversary
We got engaged in Paris. We were married on Bastille Day fifteen years ago. We always hoped to spend our anniversary in Paris. We finally did!

Homeless of Piedmont Avenue
It's about 5 minutes drive from my house. It's an eclectic, mixed use, diverse economy little area full of restaurants, cafes, salons, small retail, and professional offices. Apartments rent within a block or two start at around $3k a month. Houses sell for $500k and up with many going well over a million.
It also has this problem.
